Amazon Toy Sales Start Early
The start of the Christmas shopping season is the day after Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday on the internet.
Amazon have already started having sales leading up to Black Friday (even the sales are having sales!) and there are some amazing savings to be had on a whole range of toys, including Calico Critters.

We've been checking out the specials and have found a few items we like including:

There are some good deals on high quality toys (amongst all the junk) and the deals seem to sell-out and change all the time so keep an eye on the page.
Amazon also offers free shipping on orders over $75 which is wonderful especially if you are ordering large items (KidKraft I am looking at you).
As I mentioned in an earlier post, Amazon also have a deal where you can add a Gund Bear to your cart for Free if you purchase $75 worth of certain toys, and there are a great selection including Calico Critters (Clover Leaf Manor), Melissa And Doug and Lego (If you have Lego fans the Mindstorms Kit is a great deal : discounted, with free shipping and a free bear!).
